BUS 116 is Running Late

Hello Parents/Guardians

Bus 116 is running 10 – 15 minutes late. It will be leaving St. Aloysius school in approximately 5 minutes

Thank you

Hello St. Aloysius Families,

We are excited to welcome back our students on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Our staff are very excited to reconnect with you and your child(ren).

We have some updates for you…

Kindergarten students will be visiting the school on the days they were given by the FDK team.

All students in Grades 1-8 will begin school on the first day, Tuesday, September 7, 2021. Your child’s teacher will be posted outside on the school doors this weekend. When you come on Tuesday look for your child’s teacher, if you are having trouble finding the teacher please ask one of the staff members in a yellow vest for assistance.

Please remember to keep all COVID-19 safety protocols in mind during this process so that we can work together to ensure the safety of all.

The updated provincial screener can be found on the WCDSB homepage – www.wcdsb.ca. You can also access it by clicking on the link COVID-19 Screening Tool

Confirmation of Screening:  On August 27th it was communicated that schools and school boards are being asked to confirm COVID-19 Screening for the first two weeks of the school year (through to September 17th).  The implications of this direction are as follows:

A message will be sent to all student homes at 5:30 a.m. reminding parents to complete the screening process for their child – a link to the screener will also be contained in this message.

On day 1, September 7th – Families will receive a one-page COVID-19 Screening Confirmation Template for each child along with a hard copy of the COVID-19 Screening Tool. This template will need to be signed each day, for each child, after the COVID-19 Screening Tool is completed. The sheet is to go back and forth between school and home from September 8 to September 17, 2021.

Thank you for working with us to keep the St. Aloysius community a safe place for all!
