  • Shades Mill – Grades 3 and 3/4 (all day)




  • We are wishing all our families a very happy March Break (16th – 20th). We will see our Stars back on March 23rd.

Our primary students had the opportunity to spend some time designing and building cardboard creations with Makedo tools. The creativity was inspiring! Our young students communicated and collaborated very well together.

Reminder: Strike Day Tomorrow

Just a reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL tomorrow (Thursday, March 5, 2020) due to the OECTA one-day strike. We will see all our Stars back on Friday!

Tuesday, March 3

  • Church visit – Mrs. Mather’s grade 7/8 class (9:30 am)
  • Art Shine (11:45 am)
  • Meningitis C shots – grade 7


Wednesday, March 4


Thursday, March 5

  • Strike Day – NO School


Friday, March 6

  • Camp Brebeuf – grade 7s (all day)
  • Pizza day, for those who have ordered



  • Please note the change in pizza day (this week only) due to Thursday’s strike day. Pizza will be served on Friday, March 6th, for those who have ordered.


  • Last week was a chilly one! Please ensure that your child is coming to school dressed for the cold weather. They should have a winter jacket, snow pants, boots, a hat and mitts.



Thanks to our grade 7/8 leaders and the wonderful staff who organized, cooked and served pancakes for the entire school on Shrove Tuesday. It was a yummy treat that helped us prepare for the start of Lent.









Our classrooms were filled with pink shirts on Wednesday for anti-bullying day. The students shared ideas about how to “Lift Each Other Up” and show kindness.
